Shelby County, CA (April 12, 2023) – Monday evening, a 2-year-old child died in a crash on CR 4297.

The fatal crash on CR 4297 in Shelby County happened around 7:30 p.m. on April 10.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said the toddler is dead after being hit by a car.

Officials say foul play is not suspected. The child’s death has been ruled accidental.
