Injuries Reported in Fatal Riverside Traffic Accident on Interstate 215 and Blaine Street

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (November 24, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, a child died in a big rig crash on Interstate 215 and Blaine Street.
 
The incident happened at around 12:33 a.m. on southbound Interstate 215 at Blaine Street.
 
According to reports, a big rig and a Kia collided for still unknown reasons.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced a young occupant of the Kia dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the Kia driver with moderate injuries and other victims with minor injuries to Riverside University Medical Center for treatment. Also, the big rig driver was not hurt in the crash.
 
Furthermore, the collision closed all southbound lanes of the Interstate but has long since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, the fatal incident remained under active investigation.
