Bakersfield, CA (August 14, 2021) – A hit-and-run collision on Monterey Street left a 10-year-old cyclist injured on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place on August 13 on Monterey Street near Fairfax Road.
Around 1 p.m., a vehicle reportedly hit the 10-year-old who was riding a bicycle in the area. However, it is currently unclear what events caused the collision.
