Chic Evans Struck and Critically Injured by Car in Twentynine Palms

 
TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA (October 26, 2019) — A 68-year-old man suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on Adobe Road at Verbena Road on Wednesday.
 
The authorities said a Chevrolet Camaro struck Chic Evans of Twentynine Palms while he was crossing at the intersection. The collision occurred one block north of Twentynine Palms Highway at about 8:49 p.m.
 
A helicopter transported Evans to Desert Regional Medical Center. He was in critical condition as per officials.
 
The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
