Father and Son Dead in Selma 2-Car Crash
SELMA, CA (October 30, 2019) – A father and son were killed following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Selma.
The crash happened around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Golden State Boulevard and Dinuba Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Prius and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons. The impact fatally injured two occupants in the Prius.
Authorities identified the victims as 78-year-old Chester Ward and his son 50-year-old Bob Ward. Both were Selma residents. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
