Man Hospitalized in Vehicle-Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
Long Beach, CA (November 25, 2022) On Friday evening, a hit-and-run accident at Cherry Street left a male pedestrian with injuries.
Long Beach police says that the vehicle-pedestrian crash happened at about 6:25 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway.
Reports say that a vehicle struck a man crossing a Cherry Street. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid to the victim.
Authorities say that the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his upper and lower body. Medics transported the pedestrian to a hospital in stable condition.
Officials closed Pacific Coast Highway between Cherry Street and Gardenia Avenue.
Police are investigating the hit-and-run accident and have not released further information at this time.
