St. Louis Woman Cherish Wright Dies in Head-On Crash on Lewis and Clark Boulevard [Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO]

Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO (July 19, 2024) – 49-year-old Cherish Wright of St. Louis was killed in a head-on crash on Lewis and Clark Boulevard early Friday morning.

The MSHP officers responded at 3 a.m. to the two-vehicle crash near Haviland Drive in north St. Louis County.

Troopers said a Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 25-year-old woman crossed into the northbound lanes and struck the car driven by Wright head-on. 

Sadly, Wright was declared dead at the crash scene.

A 12-year-old girl in Wright’s car and another 12-year-old girl  in the Malibu were transported along Malibus driver to a local hospital with serious injuries.

This fatal collision is under investigation.
