Sedan and SUV Collide on Highway 118 in Chatsworth, Injuries Reported
CHATSWORTH, CA (January 17, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-car crash Thursday morning in Chatsworth.
The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. on westbound Highway 118 at Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an orange Ford Mustang and a dark-colored SUV collided, blocking the first lane of the highway. One occupant was injured and complained of pain to the chest.
Paramedics responded to the scene and took the injured patient to a hospital.
The roadway was closed until around 6:23 p.m. while Traffic Division officers documented the collision scene and conducted their investigation.
