Elmway Street Crash Kills Charmayne Lazard of Okanogan
Okanogan, WA (August 10, 2021) – On Sunday, 36-year-old Charmayne Lazard of Okanogan died in a hit-and-run crash on Elmway Street.
Investigating officers said Lazard was sitting in northbound lane of the 2300 block area, wherein the speed-limit is 45 miles-per-hour.
“The vehicle that struck her didn’t remain on the scene, so we are investigating this as a felony hit-and-run,” says an officer.
Reports said a video from a residential security camera shows the involved vehicle is a small white or silver passenger truck.
The authorities are still investigating this fatal crash and why Lazard was sitting in the roadway.
