Police Search the Hit-And-Run Driver After Crash on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth

Fort Worth, TX (February 18, 2024) – On Friday afternoon, Charlie Jones Jr. died in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 30.

Fort Worth police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the hit-and-run driver involved in a crash earlier this month that led to the death of an 82-year-old man.

 The accident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. on February 2. 

According to the police, Charlie Jones Jr. was driving eastbound on I-30 when an 18-wheeler entered his lane and collided with his car. 

This collision caused Jones’ car to spin out and strike the guardrail.

Emergency services transported Jones to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
