Afternoon Crash on Road 108 in Tulare Kills 1 and Injures Another
TULARE, CA (January 13, 2020) – One driver was killed and another was injured following a two-car crash Monday afternoon in Tulare.
The crash happened around 3:52 p.m. at the intersection of Road 108 and Oakdale Avenue, also known as Avenue 256.
According to the CHP, a 2002 Chevrolet was heading westbound on Avenue 256 when it stopped at the intersection with Road 108. At the same time, a 1999 Ford approached the intersection and hit the Chevrolet.
As a result, the 24-year-old man driving the Chevrolet was killed in the crash.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Ford driver, 69-year-old Charles Oliver, to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
