Charles Oliver Injured in Fatal Car Accident on Avenue 256 and Road 108 [Fresno, CA]

1 Dead and 1 Injured in Fresno Car Collision on Avenue 256

 
FRESNO, CA (January 15, 2020) – A man succumbed to death while another sustained injuries in a car collision on Avenue 256 on January 13.
 
The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. Officials revealed that the 24-year-old driver traveled west in a 2002 Chevrolet on Avenue 256. He then stopped at the intersection at Road 108 while a 1999 Ford approached from the south.
 
The Chevrolet then entered the intersection and led 69-year-old Ford driver Charles Oliver to hit him. Responders took the 24-year-old driver to the hospital where he later died.
 
Meanwhile, responders also transported Charles Oliver to Kaweah Delta Medical Center after sustaining minor injuries.
 
The authorities are still investigating the collision. However, officers ruled out drugs or alcohol as a factor in the collision.
