1 Dead in Cleburne Pedestrian Accident near W Henderson Street and S Nolan River Road

CLEBURNE, TX (October 31, 2024) – Tuesday night, 76-year-old Charles Drum died in a horrific pedestrian crash near W Henderson Street.

Reports said that the crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of W Henderson Street and S Nolan River Road, near US Highway 67.

Drum, a 76-year-old resident of Glen Rose, was crossing W. Henderson Street when he fell into the road and was struck by an eastbound 2004 Toyota Tundra.

He was transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away. The driver of the Tundra was uninjured, though it is unclear if they remained at the scene.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the Cleburne Police Department is investigating the incident.
