Pedestrian Killed in Yreka Auto Accident on Mill Creek Road near Greenhorn Road
YREKA, CA (October 6, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a deadly crash on Mill Creek Road near Greenhorn Road involved Charles Burgess and John Jackson.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Mill Creek Road, south of Greenhorn Road.
Reports revealed that a red Nissan pickup struck a male pedestrian. Also, the driver of the vehicle, Charles Burgess, and his passenger, John Jackson said that the man was lying in the roadway when the collision happened. Then, officers confirmed that the incident occurred in a low visibility area, in a mountainous location in Siskiyou County.
Moreover, Burgess and Jackson rushed the victim to Fairchild Medical Center where the man succumbed to injuries.
