Man Fatally Struck near Palomar Street
Chula Vista, CA (April 26, 2024) – 35-year-old Cesar Pineda was killed following an Interstate 5 accident early Saturday morning.
Troopers said a vehicle fatally struck Pineda at about 3 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway near Palomar Street.
Moreover, the authorities believe a second car may have hit Pineda before emergency services arrived.
Sadly, responding officers declared Pineda deceased at the scene.
Officers are investigating.
