Cesar Hernandez Killed in Bicycle Accident on Hawthorne Boulevard [Lennox, CA]

Lennox, CA (January 11, 2024) – On Wednesday evening, a hit-and-run traffic accident on Hawthorne Boulevard left bicyclist Cesar Hernandez, 51, dead.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD), the fatal crash happened around 11:40 p.m. at the intersection with Lennox Boulevard.

Reports say that a red Dodge Ram struck the bicyclist, and then fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Officials pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

CHP West LA is investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash and has not released additional information at this time.
