Celsa Anaya Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Glassell Street [Orange, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Collision near East Katella Avenue

ORANGE, CA (October 23, 2018) – A woman was killed Tuesday morning following a hit-and-run crash near East Katella Avenue. The victim was later identified as 58-year-old Celsa Anaya by the authorities.

According to officers with the Orange Police Department, the incident took place at about 6:30 AM on Glassell Street. The pedestrian was on her way to work in a marked crosswalk when a white pickup struck her.

Paramedics rushed Anaya to a nearby hospital for treatment and medical evaluation. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead by medical staff.
