Celia Demolina Struck And Killed in Pedestrian Accident on San Pablo Avenue, Kelly Lynch Arrested
SAN PABLO, CA (October 6, 2020) – Monday morning, Celia Demolina died in a pedestrian crash on San Pablo Avenue, police reported.
At around 5:16 a.m., authorities located 88-year-old Celia Demolina on the road. The hit-and-run incident took place on San Pablo Avenue at 23rd Street.
Moreover, when the officers arrived, they quickly administered life-saving efforts. However, Celia Demolina of San Pablo succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

After checking public-safety surveillance cameras, the authorities managed to determine that the suspect vehicle was a 1991 Ford pickup truck. They also found the suspect, 64-year-old Kelly Lynch, at his house in the 1200 block of Belfair Drive in Pinole.
The authorities confirmed that Kelly Lynch had an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear in connection with a previous drug-related arrest. Thus, they booked him into the county jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and violation of probation.
As of this time, the authorities are still looking into the possibility of drug or alcohol as a factor in the crash.
