Motorcyclist Hurt in Rear-End Collision on Cullen Trail
College Station, TX (December 1, 2023) On Tuesday, 18-year-old Ceily Simpton of College Station was arrested after a DWI crash on Rock Prairie West.
According to the CSPD, the rear-end collision happened around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Rock Prairie West and Cullen Trail.
Officials say that Simpton was driving a pickup that struck the back of a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider sustained a broken right forearm.
Reports say that after the collision, Simpton’s 3 passengers told her to drive away, which she did. Officials say that Simpton says that the rear-end crash happened after the motorcyclist break-checked her.
Authorities say that Simpton called police from home after talking with her parents. She is out of jail after posting bail.
Police are investigating the traffic collision and have not released additional information at this time.
