Injuries Reported in Sacramento Accident on 23rd Street and D Street
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 4, 2021) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Cecil Jackson after a stolen ambulance crash on 23rd Street and D Street.
The authorities responded to a stolen ambulance report at about 11:31 p.m. The initial incident occurred on 23rd Street and D Street.
According to the authorities, a suspect stole an ambulance from a local hospital on the 4000 block of J Street. Then, it hit a parked vehicle as the driver traveled recklessly.
Thus, the police tracked the suspect through an aircraft. Afterward, they confirmed that the suspect struck an uninvolved vehicle. As a result of the crash, a person inside the uninvolved vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, 35-year-old suspect Cecil Jackson escaped on foot in the area of Democracy Alley and 23rd Street. Eventually, the authorities detained and arrested him on several felony charges. His charges also include reckless driving, stealing an emergency vehicle, and felony hit and run.
