1 Dead in Stafford Auto Accident on 13100 Murphy Road
STAFFORD, TX (September 13, 2023) – Sunday morning, Cecil George died in a horrific hit-and-run crash on 13100 Murphy Road.
The incident happened at around 6:17 a.m. in the 13100 block of Murphy Road.
According to reports, the victim and his brother were rear-ended while stopped at a red light. Due to the crash, George from Stafford succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, his brother survived.
When the authorities arrived, they found out that the suspect driver fled the scene.
By Monday, the authorities announced that Jose Antonio Pina Tenorio was the suspect and he was intoxicated during the crash. Reports said that he’s a 20-year-old man from Mexico.
Additionally, law enforcement authorities are encouraging anyone with information about this investigation to reach out directly to Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers. Valuable information that results in the charging and/or arrest of Tenorio could lead to a cash reward of up to $5,000.
