Injuries Reported after Lancaster Motorcycle Accident on 14 Freeway near Jakes Way
LANCASTER, CA (October 20, 2021) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Cathell Oliver after a motorcycle crash on 14 Freeway.
The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. when a Harley Davidson traveled north on 14 Freeway near the Jakes Way overpass. Then, the motorcycle crashed with a Hyundai Accent sedan, CHP Officer Josh Greengard said.
“The rider of the Harley was determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was arrested for felony DUI due to the fact Oliver’s passenger was injured during the crash,” Greengard said.
The authorities detained 32-year-old Cathell Oliver of Lancaster. Furthermore, authorities transported him to Central Jail with $100,000 bail.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the extent of the injuries sustained by Oliver’s passenger.
