Catastrophic Vehicle Crash on Highway 86 Led to Injuries [Oasis, CA]

Oasis, CA (January 5, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a horrible vehicle crash on Highway 86 left several people hurt.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the tractor-trailer crash happened at about 10 p.m. on Highway 86 near Avenue 86.

Reports say that the tractor-trailer was making a left turn onto Highway 86 from Avenue 84, when it’s trailer came off the tractor and partially blocked the 1st lane.

Meanwhile, another northbound vehicle collided with the trailer, the vehicle had 3 occupants at the time of the crash.

Officials say that 2 passengers suffered serious injuries and another sustained moderate injuries. Cal Fire confirmed that a person was airlifted to a hospital.

Authorities are investigating the vehicle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
