WSP Investigates Beebe Bridge Traffic Incident
Orondo, WA (April 14, 2024) On Friday afternoon, a driver was hurt and hospitalized after a horrific traffic accident on US 97.
According to Douglas County Fire District 4, the incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. south of the Beebe Bridge.
Reports say that a broken brake drum fell off a semi-truck and smashed the windshield of a southbound pickup truck.
Officials say that the drum directly through the truck’s windshield, and hit the driver.
Medics transported the pickup driver to Lake Chelan Health after being treated on the scene.
WSP is investigating the traffic incident.
