Catastrophic 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 138 Led to Major Injury [Phelan, CA]

Phelan, CA (October 15, 2023) On Saturday afternoon, 3 people were hurt after a catastrophic 2-vehicle crash on Highway 138.

According to San Bernardino County Fire, the 2-vehicle collision happened at the intersection of Goss Road and SR-138, around 4 p.m.

Reports say that a silver GMC Sierra that went off the roadway and into a drainage ditch, while a silver van, overturned onto its side and was blocking the eastbound lane.

Officials say that a person was trapped inside the van and a man was pinned inside the vehicle, officials say that the male victim was unresponsive.

Medics confirmed that a total of 3 people were hurt, 2 of which sustained serious injuries and are in critical condition. A medical helicopter was requested to the scene.
