17-Year-Old Female Victim Pronounced Dead after Car Accident near Lisa Lane in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 5, 2020) – Late Monday morning, 17-year-old Catalina Esteves, was killed in a rollover crash on Gilman Springs Road.
 
California Highway Patrol first received reports around 11:10 a.m., on Gilman Springs Road between Lisa Lane and the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway.
 
Riverside County Fire Department crews immediately located three victims upon arrival. Two ambulances were then dispatched to transport them to a local hospital for further treatment.
 
In addition, nearby Samaritans were administering CPR on one of the injured victims. The fire department later revealed that two patients were transported to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley with life-threatening injuries.
 
However, the third patient was taken to the same hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Around 11:53 p.m., Esteves of Calimesa, later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. However, the conditions of the other patients are currently unavailable.
 
At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing.
