Tucson, AZ (November 1, 2023) – On Sunday, 87-year-old Catalina Deharo-Rodriguez died in a crash on 12th Avenue.

The incident happened on October 29.

Witness statements indicate that she was crossing 12th Street from the east to the west in an unmarked crosswalk when a northbound Oldsmobile struck her. 

Police said the 88-year-old male driver cooperated with the investigation and determined that he had no impairments at the time.
