CASTRO VALLEY, CA – Man Injured in Two-Car Crash on 580 Freeway at Eden Canyon Road

Collision Between 2 Sedans on 580 Freeway in Castro Valley Injures One

 
CASTRO VALLEY, CA (May 3, 2019) – A man was injured following a two-car crash Friday evening in Castro Valley.
 
The crash happened around 7:05 p.m. on eastbound 580 Freeway at Eden Canyon Road on-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a tan Mercedes-Benz collided with another sedan in the center divider.
 
Paramedics responded to the scene and found a bleeding man outside of a vehicle. The injured patient was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but both cars were towed away from the crash site.
 
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports. The incident remains under investigation.
