Evening Hit-and-Run Crash on Fairmont Drive in Castro Valley Leaves 1 Injured
CASTRO VALLEY, CA (May 4, 2019) – A man was injured following a hit-and-run crash late Saturday evening in Castro Valley.
The crash happened around 10:23 p.m. in the area of Fairmont Drive and Foothill Boulevard.
CHP officers responded to the scene and located a Nissan SUV that had overturned on its right side. Debris from crash was strewn all over the roadway.
Soon after, paramedics arrived and took one patient to a hospital with an injury to the forehead. The individual was described as a 6 feet white male in his 40s, wearing a white sweatshirt.
Another vehicle, possibly a minivan, was reportedly involved but had fled the scene.
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials are in the process of investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
