26-Year-Old Man Dead in Center Divider Collision near the 405 Freeway
CARSON, CA (May 17, 2018) – A man was fatally injured in a single-car accident on 110 Freeway, early Thursday morning.
California Highway Patrol officers and personnel from the LA County Fire Department arrived at the scene of the crash on the southbound 110 Freeway, near the transition to the 405 Freeway, just before 4:00 AM.
They found an unidentified 26-year-old man unconscious in his wrecked vehicle after colliding with the center divider. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CHP Officer Kimball. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of his family
The area of the fatal incident was temporarily closed during investigation by authorities. It is unclear why the man collided into the center divider, and speed is unknown at this time. No additional information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
