1 Hurt in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on West Houston Street and Santa Rosa Street
SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 5, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, Carol Wood sustained injuries in an alarming pedestrian crash on West Houston Street.
The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. in the 400 block of West Houston Street and Santa Rosa Street.
According to the San Antonio police, a truck struck a female pedestrian who was using a walker at the intersection of West Houston and Santa Rosa Street.
Moreover, paramedics rushed the 78-year-old victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, officers confirmed that the vehicle driver remained at the scene after the crash and is not expected to face any charges.
At this time, the circumstances leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
