Injuries Reported in Calistoga Auto Accident on Dunaweal Lane

CALISTOGA, CA (January 21, 2024) – Late Friday night, Carol Miller suffered injuries in a devastating single-vehicle crash on Dunaweal Lane.

The incident happened at around 11:10 p.m. when a Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV drove south on the Silverado Trail in rainy conditions. Then, it veered off the road and hit a tree south of Dunaweal Lane, said Vince Pompliano, a spokesperson for CHP’s Napa bureau.

As a result, a 77-year-old male passenger from Oregonia succumbed to injuries at the scene. His identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Meanwhile, the 77-year-old female driver of the Mercedes, Miller, suffered minor injuries and was transported by American Medical Response ambulance to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued the investigation.
