Carlos Rodriguez of Big Spring Killed in Interstate 20 Vehicle Collision [Howard County, TX]

Howard County, TX (June 28, 2023) – On June 26, 69-year-old Carlos Rodriguez of Big Spring lost his life following an Interstate 20 vehicle collision.

Investigating officers said a 2012 Buick Enclave driven by Rodriguez was disabled in the eastbound outside lane of the freeway. Apparently, the vehicle struck the center median from a previous collision.  Officers said that the other vehicle involved in the accident was eastbound in the same outside lane when it rear-ended the disabled Buick Enclave. 

Rodriguez was transported to Scenic Mountain Medical Center where he was later declared dead while the other driver involved in the accident was not injured. 

Officers are investigating the Howard County vehicle collision.
