27-Year-Old Hemet Man Dead and Two Injured in Accident near 28th Street
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 28, 2018) – A man was killed in a car accident that took place on the 2700 block of Rubidoux Boulevard, early Friday evening. The deceased victim was identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office on Monday as 27-year-old Carlos Javier Ayala of Hemet.
Personnel from the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the crash near 28th Street, just after 5:00 PM, to find three people at the scene. Ayala had suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on site.
A second person had to be extricated from the wreckage and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, while the third person suffered minor injuries. There is no update on the current condition of the two other people involved in the fatal collision.
Officials from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department continue to investigate the events leading up to the accident. No other information has been disclosed at this time.
