Police Searching for the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Glendale Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (April 27, 2022) – Monday night,  76-year-old Carlos Gonzalez died in a hit-and-run crash on Glendale Avenue.

The fatal hit-and-run crash in Phoenix happened at around 8 p.m. on April 25, near 37th Avenue.

Phoenix Police said Gonzalez, was trying to cross Glendale Avenue, near 37th Avenue when he was hit by a driver in a silver vehicle. 

Responders found Gonzalez unconscious on the road.

EMS transported him to a hospital where he later died.

Police did not release a suspect description or any more details about their car at this time.
