According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 1:30 PM near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Lower Wyandotte Road. Gonzales and his brother were working on their property’s landscape when a vehicle came driving down from Foothill Boulevard and struck the victim.
The driver rushed to escape the scene, but witnesses were able to get information on the vehicle’s physical appearance. It is believed to be a grey/ silver mid-2000’s Dodge pickup truck, and is expected to have sustained major damage to its right side.
