El Cajon Crash on 8 Freeway near Main Street Traps Car Under Big Rig

 
EL CAJON, CA (August 27, 2019) – A car got stuck under a big rig after a crash on 8 Freeway near Main Street Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Nissan Versa collided with the truck in the westbound lane before 6 a.m. The car landed upside down and subsequently ended under the big rig.
 
The crew of the San Diego Fire-Rescue said the driver was okay.
 
In the meantime, the crash caused delays in traffic up to Lake Jennings Park Road. The CHP issued A Sig Alert and reopened the roadway after a few hours.
