Car Crashes Through Window of Gym near North 132nd Street
SEATTLE, WA (August 11, 2019) – A car landed in a pool after crashing into a gym on Aurora Avenue North on Monday morning.
According to Seattle Police, the collision happened near North 132nd Street at approximately 7:30 AM. Based on a report, the 70-year-old man who drove the car attempted to set the parking brake when he hit the gas pedal instead. His car went through the window and directly into the pool.
Three people were in the pool at the time. However, the Seattle Fire Department confirmed that no one sustained injuries in the incident.
Police did not issue any citations in the accident. No other details are released at this time.
