1 Injured in Rancho Mirage Pedestrian Accident
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (July 4, 2019) – A 44-year-old woman sustained injuries after a car struck her on Bob Hope Drive on July 2.
A car struck a woman walking across a crosswalk when at Bob Hope Drive and Rancho Las Palmas Drive around 7:50 a.m. According to investigators, a 74-year-old woman heading east on Rancho Las Palmas made a left turn onto northbound Bob Hope. She then hit the pedestrian crossing on Bob Hope Drive.
As a result, medical responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital for her injuries.
The driver stopped and helped with the investigation.
Authorities ruled out alcohol as a factor in the collision.
