1 Killed in Hesperia Crash on 15 Freeway
HESPERIA, CA (March 26, 2020) – On March 24, a car fatally hit a 42-year-old man on the 15 Freeway near Joshua Street in Hesperia.
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the now deceased man was driving a northbound silver Dodge Intrepid on the 15 Freeway at around 3:50 a.m.
However, he later stopped in the center divider and exited his car.
For unknown reasons, he then climbed over a guardrail and walked across the southbound lanes.
At the same time, a 27-year-old woman from Apple Valley driving a Toyota Camry on the southbound lanes struck him.
When the San Bernardino County Firefighters arrived, they declared the man dead at the scene.
As of this time, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office has not disclosed the identity of the victim due to pending family notification.

The Victorville CHP is currently handling the investigation to identify the cause of the incident.
