Elderly Driver Drives into Two Restaurants in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 29, 2019) – Tuesday morning, an unidentified elderly man drove his car through the front entrance of a building in North Park.
Officials responded to a call where a car plowed into Maxim’s Palace Chinese Restaurant and Little Cesar’s Pizza on El Cajon Boulevard.
According to police records, the driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal. At this time, no injuries were reported. It is unknown the extent of damage the two structures sustained or how much it will cost to repair them.
The identify of the driver has not been released. There was no other vehicles known to be involved in the accident.
