Car Accident Reported in Chico on East 8th Street and Pine Street

 
CHICO, CA (April 25, 2019) – Chico police said that a car crashed into an ambulance heading to a call in Chico on Tuesday, April 23.
 
The accident took place on East 8th Street and Pine Street shortly before 8 p.m.
 
Sergeant Curtis Prosise said that the ambulance transported a female arrested by Chico Police that needed medical treatment. In addition, the female was the reason that the medics responded to the Chico Municipal Center.
 
No one sustained injuries in this crash. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have played a role in the incident, according to police.
 
Sergeant Prosise stated that police are investigating the cause of the incident and whether the car yielded to the emergency vehicle.
