DUI Driver Arrested After Fiery Collision Near Fowler Avenue
CLOVIS, CA (September 22, 2019) – A car caught fire in a DUI crash on Highway 168 on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the Fowler Avenue exit a little after 2:30 AM. Based on a report, a drunk woman crashed and flipped her SUV. Two other SUVs pulled over to the side of the road and the drivers got out to help, but a pickup truck came and struck the three vehicles. One of the SUVs got crushed and caught fire, but firefighters put it out.
No one is seriously hurt in the incident. However, the crash is under investigation.
