Car Accident on Telegraph Canyon Road [Chula Vista, CA]

One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Chula Vista

CHULA VISTA, CA (December 26, 2018) – Two vehicles were involved in an accident at the intersection of Telegraph Canyon Road and Paseo Ladera on Wednesday morning around 10:15 AM.

Firefighters used a hydraulic tool to extricate one of the drivers out of the car. Paramedics later transported him to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. Status on the victims medical condition and extent of injuries has not been disclosed.

According to officials, they believe one of the drivers ran the red light causing the crash.

It is unknown if alcohol and drugs were contributing factors in the accident. No further details have been disclosed, as the investigation continues.
