Pickup Truck Crashes into Pole in Collision near West Drive

 
GRASS VALLEY, CA (March 5, 2019) – A utility pole was down in a car crash in the 12267 block of Rough and Ready Highway, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 9:55 PM near West Drive. Based on an initial report, a black Chevrolet pickup was hit by an unidentified vehicle. Soon after, it crashed against the power pole.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. In addition, they confirmed that injuries were sustained in the incident. Fortunately, all conditions were not life-threatening.
 
The amount of damage sustained in the incident was still being assessed. Clearing and cleaning operations were requested in the area. At the same time, an investigation was conducted to identify the cause of the crash.
