VICTORVILLE, CA (January 17, 2020) – A person required hospitalization after a car accident on El Evado Road on January 15.
 
The incident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. on El Evado Road, just south of Mojave Drive in front of the Rite Aid shopping center. The black Honda involved in the collision suffered front end damage. However, the red Jeep SUV rolled over and landed on its side.
 
An SUV occupant self-extricated. Responders took the person to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
The authorities temporarily diverted the northbound traffic on El Evado Road through the parking lot while officials clear the scene.
 
The Victorville Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the collision.
