Car Overturns on Soledad Canyon Road East of Highway 14

 
CANYON COUNTRY, CA (May 2, 2019) – Three children were airlifted following a rollover crash Thursday afternoon in Canyon Country.
 
The crash was reported at 4:16 p.m. on Soledad Canyon Road, just East of Highway 14.
 
Responding officers found an overturned white Volkswagen Jetta with skid marks leading from the eastbound side across the two-lane road to the westbound shoulder, where it landed on its roof. Items belonging to the vehicles’ ocupants were spread across the roadway.
 
Three juveniles and one adult were reportedly hurt from the crash. The three pediatric patients were airlifted to a hospital with moderate to major injuries. The adult patient, the children’s mother, was taken by ground ambulance.
 
The condition of the victims is unknown as of Thursday afternoon, according to fire officials.
 
Sheriff and CHP officials blocked traffic in all directions for some time while they worked on the scene.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
