60 Freeway Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Candace Ostler
South El Monte, CA (November 08, 2021) – On Saturday, 32-year-old Candace Ostler of Chino Hills died in a motorcycle crash on 60 Freeway.
Officers received the fatal crash report at about 7:25 p.m. on the northbound 605 Freeway.
Investigators said Ostler on a 2019 Harley Davidson, crashed into a guardrail and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Then, Ostler and the motorcycle rested in the number 5 northbound lane of the 605 Freeway.
However, a four-door sedan struck her while lying in the traffic lane.
The involved sedan driver did not stop after the incident.
