Police Investigates Car-Pedestrian Accident near 24th Street
Phoenix, AZ (January 2, 2023) On Sunday, a deadly traffic collision on Campbell Avenue claimed the life of a woman.
Phoenix PD says that the car-pedestrian accident happened at the intersection with 24th Street.
Reports say that a northbound car fatally struck the woman crossing the street at the designated crosswalk.
Authorities rendered aid to the woman but the woman succumbed to her injuries. Officials pronouced her dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene did not show sign of impairments. Furthermore, the driver say that he had a green light and the woman was crossing against the light.
Police are investigatign the deadly traffic collision and have not released further information at this time.
