1 Person Dead in Fresno DUI Accident on Maroa Avenue and Fern Avenue

FRESNO, CA (February 8, 2024) – Wednesday morning, authorities arrested Cameron Aguilar after a fatal DUI crash on Maroa Avenue and Fern Avenue.

The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Maroa Avenue and Fern Avenue, behind the Dollar Tree.

According to reports, an unidentified vehicle struck a man and a woman for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that one person died at the scene while another was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested and booked the driver of the vehicle, identified as 25-year-old Aguilar, into the Fresno County jail for vehicle manslaughter, two counts of driving over the alcohol limit causing death, two counts of intoxicated driving causing death, and causing great bodily injury during a felony.
